Alan Wake 2 - The Lake House DLC - The Painted
Here is the painted our new enemy type for The Lake House.
I was incredibly proud of what we were able to accomplish with such a small team and limited resources. I personally concepted The Painted with direction from Juhani Jokinen and Kyle Rowley our Directors. This was a very fun process and we iterated a lot but in a very fast paced time scale. When the concept was approved I created the high poly sculpt in zbrush and created the low poly in Blender, which had a few iterations on with the VFX team to figure out how we can make them feel like a moving and dripping painted creature. Axel Furuvik contributed a lot of time into the VFX treatment alongside Eline Slingerland and Juhani Jokinen.
